Testimonials

John Saunders Executive Director The Wesley House Association
Claudie’s Urban Gardens has proven to be a valuable resource in launching and maintaining the Wesley House Association – Community Garden. The garden was launched in September 2023 to serve as the center-piece for the organization’s Intergenerational Impact Project (IIP). IIP is an innovative concept designed to partner youth with older adult client program participants in planting, nurturing and cultivating a garden full of fresh produce to be distributed via the organization’s ongoing food pantry operations. In addition, Earnest Wills has proven to be an integral component in IIP’s success from start to finish and the overall project would not have been possible with his insight, direction and vision."
Leslie Byrd Director of Operations The Wesley House Association
Claudie's Urban Gardens has provided excellent guidance in educating, engaging, and empowering me to take on the role of managing The Wesley House Intergenerational Community Garden. We have grown over 300 lbs of fresh fruits and vegetables that our youth and seniors have grown to love. Many of our seniors stated that the watermelon was the sweetest they'd ever had and it brought back memories from growing up in the south. One senior in particular stated that she loved the Bok Choy and planned on eating it a lot more! Thanks, Mr. E!!!
Paula Wills Director Health Visions Midwest
I'm so grateful for Claudie's Urban Gardens! There's nothing like going to your garden and picking fresh, organic zucchini, peppers, cucumbers, watermelon, kale, and herbs. The watering system is a life-saver!
Dr. Taylor Butler Director of Programs The Legacy Center - STL
Working with Claudie's Urban Gardens has helped us make our vision a reality. Earnest did all of the heavy lifting in creating a beautiful garden space for us and educating our team on ensuring our fruits, vegetables, and herbs thrive. Our garden has enabled us to use the produce we harvest to give back to our community. Our garden is a staple of our facility. To say we love our garden would be an understatement.
